I've posted before, Rome, Sparta, The British Empire, Napoleon, Vikings, Hutus and Tootsies, Apaches, Cherokee, Mayan, Inca and american civilizations advance through conquest and war. But only we should feel guilty.

Yes, it's accurate that we conquered the injuns. We defeated the mexicans. And yes, the original sin of slavery is a fact.

Today race is required to be the prism through which we view everything. Present, past and future. But in the 18th century, i don't think our founders were primarily obsessed with what jesse jackson and CNN would think. They had a country to birth. A war to fight and lives to build.
Sorry, but what happened 300 years ago actually 2019 is the FOUR HUNDREDTH anniversary of jamestown and the first representative government in the new world...does not need to be corrected or considered with every act that transpired since.
Slavery was bad. It was wrong. We ended it.
