thing for putting cat food out for the raccoons. One neighbor was pizzed as they had beaten down a path from the storm sewer across his yard to get to the food.
She kept feeding them and then a group of feral cats moved in.
Then the raccoons decided they weren't getting enough cat chow and broke into the house via the chimney. And completely trashed the kitchen.
One day her car wouldn't start and she had it towed to the dealer where they found raccoons had eaten the wiring harness from under the car and throughout the engine compartment.
Unintended consequences.
Just like feeding the homeless.
