poor or even poor-ish barista.

She looks patrician in her attitude and carriage. Her clothes are more nordstrom than JCPenney.

She has a confidence and a passion that does not come from a lower middle class upbringing.

Like the raskol, she is not smart but she is educated.

She is polished and poised. Trained, even.

And she is mean. Mean as a snake. If she gets power, look out.
