Pity he wasn't shot and killed on the job so you could say that was just part of the job--he should have accepted it.
I don't know what the fvck you think? Put people in highly stressful situations with a split second to make a life/death decision and something went sideways.
So roast the guy and don't give him the counseling and support he needs.
If you ever stood in the room where a murder victim was dying, maybe you could understand what exactly the fvck someone has to push down deep inside them to function for the rest of the shift, week, month, life.
