people that weren't offended by it were more likely to support womens' soccer than people that would be offended by it.
In any event - she made a decision to not wear the uniform & play with the team. The team didn't announce why she wasn't playing - she chose to seek publicity and publicize her criticism of the group that the team was attempting to reach.
It's not like she's the best player on the team - so that should be sufficient grounds to not play. Why would she want to play with them - it seems contrary to her values.
