What gets me is the studio powers that be know...

they are going to take a hit at the box office by doing this yet they still do it.
This has me believing two things. One being the studio is making so much profit that they can afford to take these kinds of SJW risks and hits. Two, like sports and music concerts, box office ticket sales continues to fall further and further down the list of revenue generating priorities.
Easier to push an agenda if you take the reliance of success or failure directly out of the consumers hands and tuck it under so cable subscription or a Target like department store endorsement.
