As much as you don’t want to hear it, the State is the root cause: from slavery to reconstruction to Jim Crow to the war on drugs. It has deliberately targeted marginalized communities to gain more control and to grow itself (see the constant pleading for funding, weapons, laws, etc).

If you truly cared, you’d stop supporting the same government that kidnapped you and forced you to fight its war decades ago, and you would support ending prohibition of drugs, and you would support getting rid of the state monopoly on law enforcement and getting rid of the separate rules the cops get to play by.
