If you are hell-bent on reflecting market value - the numbers for this World Cup eclipsed those of men's tourney.

Gals want a fair break. Men's players are paid $5,000 everytime they lose a game. Women more straight salary. They actually WIN games, too. Pay inequity is an issue in most industries - and these ladies have every right to raise the issue.
