Is that he played on two 16-win Mizzou teams, the first one being especially disappointing.
His first year, he played alongside senior AJ, senior Paulding, senior Bryant, plus McKinney, Gardner, and Kleiza. And we began the season ranked 5th in the nation.
That roster had very little depth (basically seven deep before a significant drop in talent), and that depth took a major blow when Kleiza got injured.
If that team had lived up to expectations, Conley would be viewed as a much, much different player.
