could get mortgages they didn’t deserve and couldn’t repay? And didn't try to repay?

Weren’t we trying to balance… Redistribute… Wealth in this country?

How did that work out? When one group of people has less responsibility to maintain their part of the neighborhood. When the government lowered standards for blacks so much that people with no earthly chance to repay their mortgage got what was in essence, a free friggin house....?
