Soler is only 27 and guys capable of going 30/100 when healthy don't grow on trees. Royals are in pretty good shape in terms of position players that are solid on offense and defense. Keep that core together. Trade for and draft pitching like crazy. Put all your resources into it.

Merrifield should draw a ton of attention on the market. Can play basically every position, durable, consistent .290 hitter that can steal bases.
