These studies mean little. I do believe that recruiting better matters, but I also believe that the rankings have become biased and corrupted. Mizzou continues to be ranked last or next to last every year in this conference, yet routinely beat some schools that rank in the top 3-4 EVERY year.
We know that ratings go up on a player when offered by some schools. Mizzou is not one of those schools, instead a prospect will decrease after committing to Mizzou. We need more line depth and talent on both sides of the ball, and we need to become more of a running team IMO. We need better secondary play.
