Trump's analysis many times seems to be:
"Problem" arises.
Gov't can solve this, let's use maximum force, who cares what it costs.
Don't get me wrong - I do think that's often a great way to solve a problem, but geeze.
He's a full blown politician now, and he knows a handful of states decide the election; so I get the welfare, spending and trolling for votes there, but geeze.
He has kept us out of a full blown war, but his massive military spending and pimping of the welfare programs there is expensive as hell.
I think a good Prez should set the tone for moderation in Gov't size, scope and spending. Trump has his electorate so fired up on MAGA big Gov't that they've completely lost track of any kind of debt/spending sensibilities.
