Loved that 1969 team. Cut out newspaper articles about each of their games that year and hung them on my bulletin board at home. Saw the homecoming game against KState in Columbia - 41-38 over Lynn (white shoes) Dickey. Saw us decimate Steve Owens and Oklahoma.

But Joe Moore was a beast! As close to unstoppable as they come. I think he went to Beaumont High School out of St. Louis.

Joe Moore and James Harrison.

When Dan Devine became the coach of the Packers, he took another running back (name is escaping me but he turned out to be a good one - maybe out of Wisconsin) instead of Joe Moore in the first round of the NFL Draft and said that pick just killed him - passing on Joe Moore.

But great memories of Joe Moore.
