I just know that 8-10 days out, the candidate had about a 7 point lead, but blew off WI and with a 3 million vote edge, lost the election.

Are you actually trying to deny the win was not an upset?

Come on. 70,000 votes over three states in a national presidential election IS nearly by definition an outlier win.
