we were every bit as talented as michigan this year. They just got hot in the tournament. So weather absolutely is a factor. We compete on a different planet than the Big 10.

And we are behind several SEC schools due to academic scholarships offered by the school to all students. Mizzou offers basically none while schools in Alabama, Arkansas, etc. offer great academic scholarships to out of state students. And Vanderbilt can basically decide whoever they want to get an academic scholarship, so conveniently all their baseball players get them.
