It's a no brainer that it's a real crisis. But it's equally true that this crisis started decades before Trump got involved.
I lived about 5 miles north of the border in South Bay and Chula Vista in 77 and 78. I would hear the helo's in the air frequently, tracking those who entered the U.S. illegally. They would come to the bus stop less than a block from where I lived, to make their escape.
