I wonder if we are ever going to find out why she decided to leave here. Most of the time we never hear the reasons. She certainly seemed to be all in for Mizzou, great competitor, great spirit, even after her injury was a tireless cheerleader on the bench, sang the national anthem, etc.
Maybe where she ends up at will give us a clue, maybe not. RP had a very short leash on her during games, maybe she didn’t like that. Who knows. She was the truest point guard Mizzou has had in, well, forever.
I guess now we are down to Roundtree and Chavis as the only players on the roster with the talent to play who remotely resemble a point guard, and neither of them is truly that. Bringing the ball up the court this season, particularly against pressing defenses, will truly be an adventure, and not in a pleasant way for Mizzou fans. Maybe as someone suggested Blackwell has good enough ball handling skills to do it.
