Folks typically don't like the president. Exposing crimes he committed in office won't make people like him. Crimes he committed. The nation needs the hearings as the current airing of the Mueller Report, i.e. Barr's take is deceitful

The TRICK to Impeachment hearings is it makes it very difficult to hide witnesses for the WH. I think the Congress ought to start laying out heavy fines for those denying their subpoenas. It is in the legal authority of the Congress to do that. $20,000 a day for starters. You are called to testify to the US - you show up.

Get the coverage - expose Trump. Keep that narrative and that story line or see it - narrative or wrongdoing absconded by the potus AG line of No Collusion, No Obstruction. There were both. Already GOP folks are in fact getting away with this line that there was NO evidence. That's just a lie. There was evidence.

Is the president above the law? You let this one get away and it is no holds barred for future presidents.

Again, focus election efforts on house and senate. Eleven GOP Senators are up for relection - take 3-4 of those seats and the Dems take the Senate. Do what they did in the mid-terms - and regain power. Presidency takes care of itself.
