judge Sullivan said regarding Manafort. they were after Trump not Manafort. I'm not defending Manafort, b/c if anyone in this whole affair deserved jail time it was probably him, but if the FBI and DoJ had looked at Manafort for years and declined prosecution. as i said yesterday FARA charges had only been used 6x since 1966. Team Mueller used it as a stick. but if Manafort was never Trump's campaign manager for a few months he'd still be sitting back enjoying his Ukrainian money.
