There is no way it helps him outside that 30-35% of hard cores. And THAT % does not elect him.

Pelosi doesn't want the master con man out there boasting that the US Senate found the case so weak they wouldn't even take it up.

I think it is uncertain impact of being impeached. Bubba's popularity shot way up. But Bubba was impeached over a blowjob, far less charges than Trump faces. AND Bubba was popular most all the time of his term. Trump has never been popular. But this may be a risk Nancy is not taking. Again, not many anywhere near as good at what she does than Pelosi.
