pain that caused poor little hispanic snowflakes.

Actually, the hispanics probably didn't worry about it, it was more likely the white privileged, guilt wracked crackers that need counseling after this one.

The pious principal opined that cultural appropriation is hurtful and has no place in our school (paraphrasing).

That thinking would seem to REQUIRE that hispanic students wear sombreros and ride donkeys to school and wear a rug (whatever the hell they call it) across their chest. Having them dressed in cracker-gear is demeaning and forces them to abandon their culture in favor of the culture of their white oppressors.

People must dress, act and speak according to their culture and their race. A white person speaking ebonics is racist. Therefore a black person NOT SPEAKING ebonics must be equally racist.

Don't let anyone stray from their cultural plantation. To do anything else allows for cultural appropriation. And that will not be tolerated.

Hmmmm...or maybe it's an homage... Maybe it's acknowledging another sector of the population. Maybe it's a good thing, a way to bridge the racial divide and bring people together. To share aspects of another culture and heritage.

Everything racial isn't racist.

Nah, it's racist.
