turd and the GPap investigation which is an affront to anyone with an ounce of investigative experience.
whenever I think about the FBI's investigation of GPap I honestly get ****ed.
Joseph Mifsud tells GPap that Russia has "dirt" on HRC. whether he says emails is up for debate. whether he says that they can be released to help Trump is up for debate. But either way that is info FROM Mifsud to GPap.
GPap later repeats this info to Downer and Downer in turn later informs the US gov't.
As an investigator who am I concerned with? GPap who is the recipient of a rumor or would I be concerned with Mifsud the PURVEYOR of that rumor?
The answer is rather obvious, but what does the FBI do? do they bring GPap in and use him as a cooperating witness to get to Mifsud who, "coincidentally", is ALSO not a first-hand source of the rumor?
No. The FBI largely ignores Mifsud. They interview him and he denies any connection to Russia and denies any sinister collusion and says the conversation was in general terms and completely benign.
Then, POOF, Mifsud is in the wind.
Makes one wonder about Mifsud's REAL motive and whether or not he REALLY has Russian intel connections or does he have WESTERN intel connections.
But what do they do to GPap? They run spies at him, PROBABLY attempt to set him up with the 10k payment, and slap a FISA warrant on him to spy uhhh i mean surveil him electronically.
on what planet does this make any investigative sense? not this one.
Our government SPIED on a fellow US citizen b/c he HEARD a rumor and REPEATED it. Not that there was ever any evidence he was complicit in the offense. Just that he REPEATED a rumor.
This is scary sh*t and classical liberals should be outraged. but of course, it's "get Trump" at all costs so any principles are thrown out the window.
