We have operated under a rule of law.

If a law states - "shall produce" or "shall hand over" then that is what happens.

I had no way of imagining that A) Trump would be able to attempt this blanket stonewalling, B) Trump would have the Attorney General of the United States in his pocket C) that the US Congress would be so slow to act.

Pelosi is weighing a lot of moving parts. She may play it wrong.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
