He's just a noble unbiased man, doing the good work that must be done. (that's the media, mueller storyline)

If he has to answer questions, it will become pretty clear that he knew the entire thing was a fraud, and so he went on a free fishing trip. Caught a few minnows, had a great time.

Mueller took the trump investigation, in order to help run cover for senior FBI CIA DOJ officials he's been pals with for decades.

You can bet he leaked CYA info to all of them, once he found something.
