tariffs to a degree. that's the whole idea behind pressuring them. is it guaranteed and perfect? no, but you have to admit it MIGHT work.

i agree with you in theory. but of course, that's in theory. practically speaking the probability of the US going to 0 tariffs approaches 0.

so if we go to 0 and China stays at an average of 11% why is that preferable to, hypothetically, this negotiation resulting in each country at something <11% in total.
