Steele isn't a 'foreign intelligence officer'. He owns and operates a British dirty tricks business call Orbis Communications. His current occupation is fiction writer and fabulist. It is notable that Steele has refused to travel to the U.S., since his involvement with the Clinton campaign has become public. Additionally, his testimony in British court admitting his 'Pee-pee Dossier' was unverified bullshyte has destroyed his credibility and therefore, his utility to Dems.
