This is correct. The SC has recognized the EB's executive privilege. The LB has the power of the purse, but does not have the right to know what the EB knows. The Dems know this, but must pursue a path their rabid base can believe will lead to impeachment. The Dems won't actually let things get that far along, but need to feed red meat to their crazies.
