I happen to believe that there are some actual and reasonable justifications to abort a pregnancy that is not described by law and/or our government. Those choices would be EXTREMELY difficult for the parents of that baby and the last thing I would want would be for bureaucracy to get in the way.
I think the bill should be rewritten to eliminate all loopholes that may exist to appease both sides. Third-trimester abortions should only exist for medical purposes; that is not unreasonable.
Similarly, I dont think the government should stand in the way of mothers who made a choice to have a first-trimester abortion. That choice is likely impossibly tough and we dont need government making it for people.
And even more, we need to improve sexual education and contraception in schools. Teaching abstinence has done nothing to help our kids.
