Congressman are always briefed by staffers, but yet it's the lawmakers who do the questioning in these B.S. hearings. If it were typical for other counsel to do the questioning, then I'd be fine with that format for Barr. However, that is getting dangerously close to a trial which isn't what these are.

Now, why the need to break standard protocol by Nadler? Barr said he would speak to the committee.
