Sure, they’re not great offseason signings but all they were supposed to be were bodies to fill out a roster to try and stay somewhat competitive. They’re not long term solutions. Just last year he turned a few of those guys into assets and got no credit cause they sucked. But he was able to trade one year guys (John Jay, Moose and Duda) into something (money, prospects and a rotation arm). There’s a reason we’re able to sign these guys to one year deals. They’re not good.

If you want to judge his rebuilding process, look in the minor leagues now compared to 2 years ago. We have a stacked A and AA ball club. If he does this rebuild with the lowly Royals franchise twice, it will be nothing short of amazing.
