I can guarantee you that the current players and coaching staff don’t give a flying crap if she is “a very nice person from a great family”.
Seriously, what the eff does it matter what kind of family she has or doesn’t have. Yeah, she made a mistake. And it was a pretty effing big mistake, as mistakes go, because it is going to cost the team, which she left behind, participation in the NCAA tournament, either this year or next year.
I don’t have any sympathy for her at all. I’ve never seen her “remorse” stated in any public way, I’ve never seen her apologize in public to her teammates who are being punished for her cheating. I’ll bet you 99.9 of LSU fans have no idea her academic cheating is costing innocent players on another team the opportunity to participate in post season play. She and her “great family” are just fine with keeping this all hidden from the general public.
Her family ought to be ashamed of her and what she did, and she should be too. Doing your own school work in college is not a difficult concept. Everyone knows you do not let someone else do it for you.
And you are the one with no clue. The “price she paid” was nothing in comparison to the price that innocent Mizzou softball players will pay this year or next. At the very least she could publicly apologize to the current players and coaches.
I’ve heard crickets on that, and don’t believe her and her great family will ever apologize publicly. They would prefer it be swept under the rug.
