On a macro level, getting more higher rated kids equates to more talent on the team. There are always individual exceptions both ways.
The exciting thing is when you can get both high rated kids, and hit on some under-recruited kids (like Dru Smith, Pickett, and Pinson).
It's how Martin has made it work at all his stops. He isn't an ace recruiter. He's had just as many classes with no ranked kids as he's had with 5* recruits.
