I cannot imagine what her response would be.
People are stupid. I am a HS teacher and since it has become chic to be transgender I have known multiple kids who ‘came out’ only to revert less than a year later. The teen years are confusing for a lot of kids we don’t need to make them more so by buying into their illusions.
I couldn’t care less if someone chooses to change their gender. But don’t let teens and, God forbid, preteens make life altering decisions when they are still discovering who they are. If a kid makes it to 5heir mid twenties and wants to make the change then they have my blessing. The minds of teenagers are not fully formed and a large percentage who are allowed to change will definitely have buyers remorse.
