Ok, it was spying, but all the proper paperwork was filed.
Ok, the proper paperwork was filed, but Rosenstein lied in the application.
Ok, Rosenstein didn't lie, but truly believed and was mislead.
You watch, every bad actor in this was doing it 'in good faith' with full belief in the veracity of the dossier.
If they can't prove that they swing...
Ok, wait, the FBI had all the information clearly showing that the dossier was paid for by the Clinton Campaign.
And Rosenstein had full access to that information and had reviewed it BEFORE the FISA application was completed.
hmmmm...
Ok, so even knowing that the dossier was dirt created by the opposing campaign, Rosenstein STILL BELIEVED in the veracity of the dossier at the time the application was made.
