Folks are offended for the simplest things - I read an article that said someone was reported to HR for saying "Hello, Ladies" each morning and one of them was offended.

Then, on the other side of the coin, you've got folks on sites like Reddit and Imgur and all these other social media sites where they'll post the most vile offensive crap they can, all because they can do it with anonymity.
