4 of the top 5 worst seasons in MU basketball since the 1970's have been in the last 5 years. That is why ticket sales are down, we need to improve the product of our own program. Being in the best and most prominent conference is not a negative contributing factor.
We have the right coach, he just needs to rebuild from us making the worst hiring decision in modern college basketball history and then allowing the disastrous experiment to go on for 3 seasons.
