I have explained before, that the only mob vote I ever cast was against myself, to see how it works.

That said, let’s not pretend this is fun banter and debate. Battle lines are drawn here as they are everyplace else. With the exception of the idiot pickle, many of the posters here post serious subjects. And they can be discussed and debated sometimes angrily. And that’s fine.

Anonymity allows for honesty that is often not available in the workplace. And it is interesting to hear the debates of both sides, even when the debates offered by the sophomoric likes of JG end of the raskol are generally laughable.

Maybe that’s the fun part you referenced. Debates here tend not to change minds, but rather to allow someone to vent. And that’s OK too.

But it is not a friendly sewing circle where everybody is good friends with an occasional tiny disagreement. After which, we all go out and have a cup of tea.
