1. I will not see any skyscrapers lit up in blue & red.
2. I will not see any of KC's iconic landmarks lit up in blue & red.
3. I will not see any buildings in any entertainment districts proudly display the beakers flag, logo, or any other beaker displays.
4. I can start listening to local sports talk radio again.
5. The city and news coverage will actually be about the Royals and their home opener this week.
6. Bonus: Two SEC teams (both of which have ended ku's season in the past) will be playing in KC. There is also the potential for a couple more schools beakers aren't too fond of playing here as well.
I DECLARE TODAY TO BE AMERICA DAY!
