The future is communist. Eventually, technology will eclipse scarcity of resources and we’ll have enough ships and have explored enough of the universe that we can do anything we want at all. Star Trek is the future, and that’s some commie **** until you dig beneath the surface to the people that support the Federation, but that’s outside of the point.
