I don't know about his deal with china, do you? Does he have a contract for a set period of time? I don't know, do you?

Frankly i don't like that he has his ties made in china after railing against unfair chinese trade practices.

But as a business man or a consumer, he should go where the best deals are. I for one buy lots of imported stuff, mostly cars and suits. I never understood the idea of "buying detroit steel" when detroit practiced built in obsolescence and made crappy cars and expected people to buy crap because it was american crap. I drive a toyota. Made in ohio iiuc.

I buy the best product i can afford. All things being equal, i'll buy the american product. Otherwise, the american companies have to do better to get my business.

If there are unfair tariffs or restrictions in our dealings with foreign countries, the government should do something to level the playing field, other than whining that we should buy american. Pols do that because they don't have the guts to get into an argument with china.

Screw that, says trump. Here's a tariff for you. Maybe that will work, we'll see. It's certainly better than all recent presidents who were AFRAID of a trade war with china.
