What a dandy idea!

Amid skyrocketing U.S. student debt, the Trump administration is considering a proposal to make colleges partly responsible for the loans.

Supporters of the proposal say that it aims to shift some of the burden of student debt from taxpayers to colleges themselves, putting "the onus on schools to prove their own worth." Critics say the move would harm poorer students.
