Jesus did not feed the poor fish. The story of the fish concerned people who had the means to buy their own food, but it would require Jesus to cut his time with them short so they could travel to the closest town and get food. Instead, Jesus performed the miracle of dividing the 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread to feed the masses.

No mention of the fish being given to the homeless or that anyone was too poor to buy a meal
