He said, paraphrasing that for democrats there is a wide swath of middle ground in which to run. While acknowledging that there are a lot of good liberals out there.
In other words, do what he did. LIE.
Deny your socialist/marxist/communist beliefs and pretend to be a moderate. Maybe get someone on CNN to say you're "a mainstream democrat, perhaps just slightly left of center."
LIE AND DENY. It worked for him.
And people who can see right through trump, those that have a son in NYC and a daughter in barcelona were in full support of that anti american marxist piece of human sewage.
Not everyone has your insight and intelligence.
