as I've suggested I think that when black leaders, or anyone, dredges up that kind of history it becomes counterproductive for blacks today, especially the young ones who didn't live thru it. I would never try to hide historical facts but this is the one example in which I see no advantage of "teaching" it. There is enough division already and in a country that has passed more equality laws than any on the planet, that seems irrational and certainly unnecessary.
