conference ranking, but it is still in the general range of where they have been for many years.

They had built themselves up to a fairly reliable 2-bid league for a handful of years there before the defections and they were usually ranked #10-12 out of 32 leagues. Now they are falling in the 12-14 range. Still a slightly above average league despite that it is clearly not as solid as it used to be. Any time any team from a non-P6 league makes a run in the NCAA, it is considered a fluke with the possible exception of Gonzaga and that's only because they've made so many runs people gave up trying to bash them.

They are what they are. We all know it. They know it. But comparing them to the MIAA is stupid.
