in DC is a complete scam. The folks actually running this place are only interested in maintaining and enhancing their own power. They're not interested in solving Joe Paycheck's problems, and they intentionally divide the citizenry and try to make us hate each other so we'll go scrambling to them for assistance. The sooner you accept these facts, the better you'll feel. If Trump was acting like Obama in this scenario, we'd be super ****ed, although he's certainly overseeing Obama-level taxation and spending.
