know who is for real or not, and what is a good win or bad loss, in many cases. Of course, anyone who beats a UCLA or Florida has a really great win in their pocket that is not going to diminish over time.

LSU could be very overrated, they lost 2 great pitchers, and have always struggled on offense. They won big last weekend but didn’t play anyone worth crap. My suspicion is they will not be a top 10 team at the end of the season, and maybe are more of s 15-25 type team. And, I’m waiting a bit more on Oregon to decide if they are even a top 20 team or not. They just don’t have the pitching depth to last the long haul, I suspect.

After each team has 20-25 games in I think we will have a much better idea what was actually a good win or a bad loss in the first 3-4 weeks of the season.

And yes, we’ve experienced Sanchez tailing off against better competition, it feels more and more like she mailed it in last spring when she knew she was out of here at the first opportunity. After putting her teammates at great risk with her academic cheating. Not my favorite person at all.
