On the surface it looks like a good thing but really how much actual land will be taken up by this energy/water infrastructure along the border and how much area will the private sector be policing to protect the new infrastructure? Will these measure stopthe flow of drugs and illegals? Will the companies actually be adding to the issue by hiring cheap labor from across the border as opposed to U.S. citizens.
Will the cut rate wages of the private security force be filled with people with ties to the drug cartels looking to make money that way?
A actual wall...you know that was effective between East and West Germany and is effective in Israel seems more practical than some massive energy/water project.
