have no idea of the history of the school or the state. They have no idea what the jayhawk is who the jayhawkers were and therefore why it is in very poor taste to choose that mascot.
Hell half of them don't know what "rock chalk" refers to. They aren't a national brand by any means, but they're the local fair weather fan's choice.
